Happenings at the Homegrounds
More construction will soon start at the Homegrounds. Mother nature has given us a little bit of a brake.
The construction crews will soon start up again to finish the campgrounds along with the Shower house for the west campgrounds.
The people from Briley will be coming up around the 21st of April to install the bunker traps in the bunker. I believe it will take a couple of weeks to get them installed.
The way things are shaking out as of right now it looks like the Training and Learning center will not be up for the State shoot. We do hope to have the storage building up though. We will most likely be using this as the office area for classification, squadding, and cashiering. We are hoping to have the meet and greet, the fish fry and the banquet in there also.
Other things that should be finished are, the grass in and growing, all the shooter shade shelters will be in, the cart path behind the sidewalk to help keep the dust down.
We are hoping to have Wifi in and running to help broadcast the scores, squads shooting and other information. Along with the Wifi we are looking at ways we can use wireless speakers to use as a PA announcements.
So as you can see there will be a lot of new improvements from last year. Not everything will be finished and not everything that we had hoped to have finished. But like I said there will be a lot of improvements and most of the major problems will have been addressed from last year. Just remember this is a huge project. It will take some time. Look at some of the countries best and largest clubs. They weren't done the first year either.
And as always. This project is a large one. We really need donations. Even if you have donated something in the past PLEASE consider making another donation. See any WTA Director or the web site also has information on how to donate.

Raffle for the Homegrounds.
We have a raffle going right now for the WTA. It is a gun and cash raffle. I don't know anyone that could use either on but so be it. The tickets are $10 each or 3 for $20. We will only be selling 600 tickets so get yours soon. All WTA Directors have them. I am almost out but I think I can get more.
The prizes are: First place. A unfired 1983 DU Browning B80 shotgun.
2nd Place A Kel-tec PMR-30 .22WMR Pistol.
3rd Place $150 cash
4th Place $100 cash
5th place $25 cash

Attention State shoot campers.
If you had a camping spot for the 2013 State shoot and have received a letter from Bill about camping at this years State Shoot and you have not sent in a deposit you will have until May 1st. Then he will be releasing your spot to new people requesting a spot for this year. So please hurry if you want a spot for this year. Spots are going fast and we will soon filling spots on the main lots again after the 104 in the campgrounds are full.

Homegrounds RV park Inc.
There will be a meeting of the BOD of the Homegrounds RV park Inc. this Saturday at Lake Sherwood lodge in Rome, Wi. at 9AM.
Topic's will include but not limited to creating a mission statement, what's happening now and what will be done in the near future and several other issues.
The meeting is open to members of the WTA.
