Homegrounds update

Just a few updates from the WTA BOD meeting last Sat. the 19 of Oct.

On Friday the 18 Dennis Taylor and myself met with some of the contractors out at the home grounds.

The pads for the shade shelters will start being poured in about another week or so.  The walkways that were damaged during the state shoot with the water trucks and the Fire trucks will also be repaired.

Badger Environmental should be starting in a week or two.  They will be starting the septic and water for the West campgrounds.  They are also going to put in a 11-12 foot stone cart path behind the shade shelter pads.  It will run the length of the main walkway up to the woods on the west end.

Van Ert electric will be in contact with Badger so that the electric wiring can start as soon as possible.

We have started with some prelim. drawings of the interior of the training center.  The BOD got a copy of it so that everyone can see if there are somethings we want added or taken out or moved around.

Dennis and I are meeting at General Engineering corp on Monday to discuss the training center and the shower house in the west campgrounds.

Dennis is going to be putting some doors on the remaining trap houses on Sat and Sun.  We will also be blowing out the water lines and putting anti-freeze in the septic line traps.  So if you would like to help out come on out to the home grounds this weekend.

As you can see there is allot still going on to get ready for the 2014 State shoot to be held July 15th - 20th

The minutes for the meeting should be published soon.
