Winter update

Well mother nature has gotten the upper hand in central Wisconsin.  Work has pretty much come to a halt at the Homegrounds.  Last week when I was there it looked like all the concrete pads for the shade shelters are in.
Most if not all the man holes are in and they have buried the main water lines and sewer lines in the West campgrounds.  The shower house is stubbed in and the footings poured.  The dump station on the west side has been started.  The power box is in by the shower house and well.  So they did get a good start.  I heard that they figure a few more weeks and they would be done.  The plan is still to be open for camping in early May.
We are getting bids for irrigation for between the sidewalk and the trap houses so that we would be sure to have grass growing and taking away a lot of the dust.  Along with that we have a couple of bids to do the seeding there also.
Putting in the stone for the cart path should only take a couple of days.
Our next face to face meeting will be Jan 25th.  Place still undetermined but somewhere in the Rapids, Rome area.  We have teleconference calls scheduled for Dec 16th and 23rd.  So contact me or any director if there is anything you would like to have brought up.
Some other things that came up at the last BOD meeting on Dec 7th.  1st.  We have changed the zone boarder's slightly.  Dodge Co. is now in the SE Zone.  There are others that we are looking at.  Next Beaver Dam has been asked to host the SE Zone shoot again this year.  With them in the SE Zone they will be added to the rotation.
Next.  The WTA has purchased a 2011 CAT Skid Steer.  We got a great price due to a lot of searching done by Bruce and Bill.  Bill's salesman found a good one for us.  It has only 1200 hours and we got it for around $33k.  It is on tracks and has a bucket and forks.  It will accept a lot of other attachments like snow blower, a broom. and others.  It was a necessity  for us to have.  Thanks Bill.
The ATA rebate for 2014 is $7918.  It would be $80 higher but there were 4 people that shot Reg. targets without renewing their memberships.  We are in the process of contacting the clubs to take care of this problem.
Well that is all I can think of for now.  My brain isn't working very well.  I took a fall on my steps at our house up north and fractured my tail bone (my butt) so my brain got scrambled.
Merry Christmas and have a happy, healthy year filled with high scores.
